Terms and Conditions

1. Booking Deposit and Payment: The session fee listed is paid in advance to secure your chosen date. It is non-refundable should you cancel, but it is transferable to a new date within the same calendar year in the event you wish to amend your booking within 48 hours before the session.

2. Photographic Materials and Copyright: All photographic materials, such as original negatives, photos, or slides, shall be the exclusive property of the Photographer. The Photographer shall own the copyright in all images created and may use the work for samples, contests, exhibitions, advertising, and self-promotion. Usage outside the bounds of this agreement will require the Client’s consent.

3. Liability: The client is responsible for their safety and actions while at the location of the portrait session. Renau Destine Photography is not responsible for any liability, accidents, illnesses, damage, or loss to persons or property that may result from the photography session itself or anything related to the photography session.

4. Storage: Images are kept on file by the Photographer for 3 months after the portrait session. Every effort is made to secure equipment back-up, however, due to the unreliability of digital equipment, data loss can occur at any time; except as explained herein, Photographer shall not be liable for any loss of digital data whatsoever.

5. By hiring the photographer, the client acknowledges that all photographs will be captured and edited according to the photographer's expertise and artistic perspective. In the event that the client has specific requests, they should provide a "shot list" outlining all desired shots.

6. All images included in the selected package will undergo standard editing procedures, such as minor blemish removal, cropping, and adjustments to light and color. Any additional editing requests from the client will incur a fee of $20 per image if approved by the Photographer. Extra image adjustments encompass modifying body or body part sizes, replacing elements from another image, altering body part colors, additional skin retouching, and background replacement or swapping. It is also understood that unless explicitly stated in the contract, the Photographer is not accountable for addressing hair, skin, or makeup issues.

7. The Photographer is not obligated to edit photos to conceal any parts of your body that you prefer not to be visible in the photograph unless such arrangements have been explicitly agreed upon in writing with the photographer.
